Student ID (ctcLink ID) & Password
A student identification number (known as ctcLink ID in the ctcLink system) and personal password are needed to access student records and online services.
ctcLink Student Identification Number
The college assigns a student identification number (known as an ctcLink ID in the ctcLink system) to every student who applies to South Seattle College.
If you have already been assigned a ctcLink ID at another Washington State Community or Technical college, then you will use the same number. If you enroll at another community or technical college in Washington, you will use the same ctcLink ID number.
NOTE: Be sure to write down your new ctcLink ID number when you get it and keep it in a safe place. You will need it to login to ctcLink.
Password
When you create your ctcLink account you will establish a personal password. You will need both your ctcLink ID and password to log into your ctcLink account. You will also be asked to establish three security questions so you can recover your account should you lose your ctcLink ID number or password.
Lost or Forgotten ctcLink ID or Password: If you forget your ctcLink ID after you activate your account, contact Registration or the IT HelpDesk to request. ID verification is required.
Student Identification Card
Students taking 3 or more credits are required to have a student identification card. Students enrolled in ABE, ESL, Community Service, Parent Co-op or Senior Adult Ed programs have the option to purchase a card. The fee is $7.50 and provides, library and computer lab privileges and fitness center access.
