Hospitality Management
The BAS in Hospitality Management program will prepare students who have completed an AA, AB, or AAS-T degrees in accounting, business information technology, culinary arts, or other areas of study for management-level positions in the hospitality industry. Students will learn and explore management, marketing, and human resource positions in all facets of the hospitality field, including tourism, hotel operations, restaurant management, catering, cruise ships operations, casino operations and travel.
Sustainable Building Science Technology
The BAS in Sustainable Building Science Technology offers industry professionals a pathway to becoming a skilled Building Science Professional. The program emphasizes upper-division coursework that focuses on the complexities of building science, energy codes, building codes and facility management. The program prepares students who have completed an apprenticeship program, a two-year technical degree or approved associate degree. It is recommended to have 2-5 years of related work experience with commercial and residential high performance buildings.
