Bookstore Update for Winter Quarter 2025

Seattle Colleges’ Online Bookstore is changing to make purchasing your textbooks and class materials easier. On Monday, November 25, the newly updated online bookstore will open with information about your books and materials for Winter Quarter.  Note: this is a different website and experience than the one for Fall Quarter.

The newly updated online bookstore simplifies the textbook process and offers a variety of physical and digital textbook formats. You’ll find:

  • A personalized website experience when you log in with your student account
  • A quick ordering process – place an order in just 5 minutes
  • New, used, eBook, and rental textbook formats (depending on each course)
  • Price match guarantee on new books
  • An average savings of 60% off list price on marketplace items
  • Student support with 24/7 availability during the back-to-school season
  • Free shipping on retail orders over $79 (exclusions may apply)
  • The option to post and sell textbooks on the Valore Marketplace and get an instant quote

Follow These Steps

Purchase and access your textbooks and course materials by following these steps.

Step 1: Go to the bookstore page for your college. (You’re here now. Step completed.)

Step 2: Click the button “Enter the Bookstore.” (direct link: seattlecolleges.textbookx.com)

Step 3: Once you are at the online bookstore, click the “Log In” button and use your MySeattleColleges login credentials.

Step 4: This is new. You will see a personalized page with a listing of all of your registered courses along with the assigned materials that faculty submitted to the bookstore. Depending on your courses, you may have a variety of textbook formats to choose from, including new and used physical books, eBooks, and/or rentals. If no textbooks are required for a class, a note will appear saying you do not need to order anything. You may always search for books by title, author, and International Standard Book Number (ISBN).

Note: If you can’t find the textbooks or course materials on the bookstore website, let your instructor know so they can assist you, discuss options, and find alternatives.

Step 5: After reviewing your options, select the textbooks and materials you want to purchase or rent by adding them to your shopping cart.

Step 6: When you have made your selections, click the shopping cart icon at the top of the page and complete the checkout process. Pay with credit card, Apple Pay, or Paypal.
