Veterans Student Center

The Veterans Student Center is a welcoming space for veterans and military-connected students to connect, build community, study, relax, and access resources while attending South Seattle College.

Located in the Jerry M. Brockey Student Center (JMB 148), the Center provides a comfortable space to connect with other students, learn about campus and veteran-specific resources, participate in programs and events, or simply have a place to spend time between classes.

  • Active-duty service members
  • Reservists and National Guard members
  • Military spouses and dependents

Whether you're new to South or have been here for a while, you're welcome to stop by, connect with others, and make the Center part of your college experience.

Programs & Community

Throughout the year, the Veterans Student Center offers programs and activities that connect, recognize, and support veterans and military-connected students.

Programs may include Veterans Day and Memorial Day activities, workshops, social and community-building events, and other opportunities to connect with the South Seattle College community.

Students are also encouraged to share ideas for programs, resources, and activities they would like to see offered through the Center.

Need assistance with VA educational benefits, enrollment certification, or other Veterans Affairs processes?
