Access Services

Important Service Update:

From Jan. 12 through at least Friday, Jan. 28, several student services at South Seattle College are shifting to remote and virtual assistance only, including Access Services.  This change has been made due to significant staffing shortages that impact our ability to provide in-person services with consistency, and to help keep our campus community safe during the current COVID-19 omicron variant surge.

Access Services Virtual Operations Hours: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Welcome

Access Services, formerly known as Disability Services, coordinates services and arranges academic adjustments for students with disabilities at South Seattle College. The Access Services Office provides reasonable accommodations to promote physical and programmatic access to college services, programs, and activities.

Eligibility

To be eligible for services, students must have a disability (as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 as Amended) and provide documentation of the disability and need for accommodation.  Eligible students must also meet the academic and technical standards required for admission to college programs or activities.
