South Seattle College students and alumni can access official and unofficial transcripts.
Official transcripts are available to order online through the National Student Clearinghouse. Students transferring to Seattle Central College or North Seattle College are not required to order official copies of transcripts but still need to complete the appropriate evaluation forms for that college.
Students who are unable to order through National Student Clearinghouse can visit the Credentials office for a paper transcript order form.
Official transcripts are used for certification of earned credits and degrees and bear the registrar's signature. Fees are applied per-transcript. We reserve 7-10 business days to process official transcript requests.
Unofficial transcripts are free and may be accessed an unlimited number of times. Unofficial transcripts are used for viewing purposes and are not an official document.
Student's Responsibility
When ordering an official transcript, it is the student's responsibility to fill out all official transcript request forms correctly and completely. Information such as name, recipient's mailing address, email address, payment information, and the number of copies must be accurate upon submission. This includes information such as external transcript ID numbers and other identifying information requested by the recipient institution. Transcript(s) sent in error due to information submitted by the requester shall not be fixed or reprocessed. A new request must be submitted through the National Student Clearinghouse with the correct information for processing.
Note: Students visiting the Registration office for pick-up are required to show a valid government-issued ID. Failure to pick up within 30 days of being notified the transcript is ready will result in the transcript being shredded and the student needing to place a new order.
