Additional Placement Options

Due to staffing, review of unofficial college transcripts and test scores for placement purposes will take about 7-10 business days.

Student Placement at South can accept a variety of documents from a variety of sources such as high school and college transcripts, dual-credit programs for high school students, global college placement exams, and more.

Note that placement methods on this page have validity periods that range from 6 months to up to 2 years from the date of original completion, not the date of submission to South. Students with documents outside the accepted validity period can take one of our free assessments linked here.

Course placement is not a substitute for official credit transfer; if you have completed college transfer eligible coursework, please follow this link for instructions on how to transfer that credit to South.
