College Transcript
Students with prior college coursework at any Washington State Community or Technical College and most public colleges and universities around the country can use unofficial transcripts for course placement. College transcripts have no expiration date.
Visiting students completing a degree program at another college or university can use their transcripts at their home institution for placement if taking classes for transfer. Students with prior college coursework who have transferred to South can use their unofficial transcripts for immediate placement if waiting for a credit transfer evaluation to process.
Please note that no credit is awarded for placement from unofficial or official transcripts. Students seeking credit for their prior coursework should follow this link for instructions on how to request a credit transfer evaluation.
To use for class placement:
- Email a copy of your transcript to studentplacement@seattlecolleges.edu.
OR
- Bring a copy of your transcript to the Enrollment Services/Registration Desk in the Robert Smith Building. Please state if you are seeking placement from your transcript, an official credit transfer evaluation, or both.
OR
