Upward Bound staff spend most of their time working with students at the school sites. Some of the annual events students participate in each year include:

Fall

Field Trips
Seniors take college entrance exams and complete college applications
Sophomores focus on academic development

Winter

Seniors complete the FAFSA
Juniors register for college entrance exams
Sophomores explore college options

Spring

Juniors visit 3-4 colleges in Eastern Washington- overnight field trip
Seniors decide where to go to college
Juniors take college entrance exams
Sophomores plan courses based on CADR and graduation requirements

Summer

Upward Bound summer program! Rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders participate
