Academic Year

Upward Bound staff spend most of their time working with students at the school sites. Some of the annual events students participate in each year include:

Fall

• Field Trips
• Seniors take college entrance exams and complete college applications
• Sophomores focus on academic development

Winter

• Seniors complete the FAFSA
• Juniors register for college entrance exams
• Sophomores explore college options

Spring

• Juniors visit 3-4 colleges in Eastern Washington- overnight field trip
• Seniors decide where to go to college
• Juniors take college entrance exams
• Sophomores plan courses based on CADR and graduation requirements

Summer

• Upward Bound summer program! Rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders participate
