Waitlists

What is a waitlist?

The waitlist feature offers students a fair and consistent way to enroll in a full class if openings occur. Students who choose to be placed on a waitlist will be automatically enrolled in the class if space becomes available. You can manage or view your waitlist through your ctcLink student homepage.

How do I add or remove myself from a waitlist?

Step-by-step instructions on how to add yourself to a waitlist and manage your class enrollments can be found on the ctcLink Student Resources page. Please remove your name if you no longer wish to be waitlisted.

When do waitlists close?

The waitlists will continue to move as space becomes available.  Waitlists will close by 9:00 pm the night before the quarter begins. After that time, the waitlists are frozen and no more activity occurs.

Will I be notified if I am enrolled?

You will receive an email notification any time there is a change in your waitlist status so it is important your email address is current. You can also check your waitlist status at ctcLink. If you are enrolled from the waitlist, view your schedule to determine additional tuition charges. If you are still on a waitlist when the quarter begins, attend the first day of class. If your class is online, email the instructor directly regarding the possibility of being added to the class. If the instructor approves your enrollment, bring an Enrollment Form signed by your instructor, or the instructor’s approval email (and a completed Enrollment Form), to the Registration Office in the Robert Smith Building. If you are taking online classes, you may forward the instructor’s approval email (and a completed Enrollment Form) to ssccregistration@seattlecolleges.edu.

When is tuition for the added class due?

Tuition must be paid by the tuition deadline. After the quarter begins, tuition is due at the time of enrollment. Official enrollment is not complete until tuition and fees have been paid in full. Students will be dropped from class for nonpayment of tuition and fees.
