What is a waitlist?

The waitlist feature offers students a fair and consistent way to enroll in a full class if openings occur. Students who choose to be on a waitlist may be enrolled in the class if space becomes available. Review our Register for Classes page for information on waitlists and common errors.

To monitor your place in the waitlist, log into your ctcLink student account via the Class Schedule. Click on "Login" on the bottom left corner and select "Enrollment" on the left bar. Click the "Wait List" for the intended quarter.

How do I add or remove myself from a waitlist?

To remove yourself from a waitlist, you will need to drop the class. Review our Register for Classes page for information on how to drop a class.

When do waitlists close?

Waitlists run through the third day (Wednesday) of the quarter. They will stop moving by 4:00 pm. After that time, the waitlists are frozen and no more activity occurs.

Will I be notified if I am enrolled?

If you are registered for a class off a waitlist, a notification will be sent via Message Center in your ctcLink Student Homepage or email.

When is tuition for the added class due?

Tuition must be paid by the tuition deadline. After the tuition deadline, tuition and fees must be paid within seven business days of registration or before the quarter begins, whichever comes first. Once the quarter begins, tuition and fees are due immediately. Official enrollment is not complete until tuition and fees have been paid in full. You may be dropped from class for nonpayment of tuition and fees if you do not pay or do not have funding secured.
