Lost & Found Tips
- Keep your belongings with you at all times.
- Put your name, and contact information on your books, backpack, notebooks, etc.
- If you think you lost an item at South, notify us, we will keep a record of your inquiry for one quarter.
If you need a friend or relative to claim your lost item, we need a letter of authorization that is signed by you for the item to be released.
Lost and found items are recycled after each quarter. Any unclaimed items will be given to a local charity, or thrown away.
Posting Policy
All literature, flyers, and graphics must be approved and dated before posting. South Seattle College reserves the right to deny posting, distribution and display privileges if information is commercial, obscene or unlawful.
When your poster/flyer is ready for approval, please email us a draft or bring it to:

General Guidelines
- All posters/flyers must include:
- South Seattle College logo
- Name of club, department, or committee sponsoring event/activity/class
- Contact info of student/faculty/staff contact
- Abbreviated Non-Discrimination Statement: “Seattle Colleges is committed to the concept and practice of equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation for all its students, employees, and applicants in education, employment, services, and contracts. - Flyers are only allowed on designated boards.
- Do not use staples or tape to attach materials to the boards.
- Flyers may be posted for up to two weeks.
Tabling Request Policy
- We take reservation requests from all campus organizations, and non-campus affiliated organizations, with the approval of the Student Life Office Manager.
- Each campus organization may reserve 1 table, twice a month. Each non-campus affiliated organization is able to reserve 1 table, once a month.
- Approved tabling requests may advertise in the Jerry M. Brockey Student Center (JMB) near the Campus Bookstore and by the Art Gallery. A staff person will show you where the tables are and will indicate the appropriate space to table.
There is no cost to reserve a table, provided the group or organization meets the criteria for selection.
Please note that the designated spot for public forum at South Seattle College is the clock tower, located in the center of campus, adjacent from the Jerry Brockey Center and the cafeteria.
