Child Care Resources

South Seattle College does not currently have child care services, but we encourage students to explore the following resources for support:

College Resources

Emergency Funds – South Seattle College emergency funds can award students with $500 emergency childcare assistance awards once per academic year.

Workforce Education Office – South’s Workforce Education Office can help students enrolled in BFET and WorkFirst find childcare subsidies through DSHS.

Community Resources

City of Seattle Child Care Assistance Program – The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) helps families living within Seattle city limits pay for the cost of child care for children 1 month to 12 years of age.
