Remote Operations Update:
During SSC remote operations due to COVID-19, Advisors are available for appointments via Zoom (preferred) or phone. Questions can also be directed to advisorsouth@seattlecolleges.edu.

CURRENT STUDENTS can book appointments online by following the “Schedule Advising Appointment” button above.
PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS need to call the Advising Center front desk to schedule an appointment with an advisor at (206) 934-5387.
CURRENT STUDENT: Registered for classes anytime in the last three years and/or registered for classes in an upcoming quarter.
PROSPECTIVE STUDENT: Has applied to the college and received a Student ID Number (SID) but not yet registered for any classes.
Students who were previously enrolled at South, but not in the last three years will not be able to log into the online scheduling system and need to call the Advising Center at (206) 934-5387.

Ways to meet with an advisor
Same Day Appointments
- Offered Monday and Thursday
- Designed for quick questions or schedule changes
- Filled on a first-come, first-served basis – these appointments cannot be booked in advance
- Ideal for returning students, who have a question about prerequisites, needs to change a class, etc.
- Sign up begins each morning when we open – 8 am Mon-Thu, and 9 am Fridays.
- Students who have a conflict and are not able to come in when we open due to work/family schedules should call the Front Desk at 206-934-5387.
Appointments
- Offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
- Designed for longer questions
- 30 - 60 minutes in length
- A 30 minute appointment is ideal for new students registering, updating an existing educational plan, and for students who want to talk about transfer/program options. A 60 minute appointment is ideal for students who want to create a new educational plan or funding paperwork that requires an educational plan.
- Best for students who would like to schedule an appointment for a future day
- May be booked in advance by calling 206.934.5387, stopping by the WSECU Advising Center in RSB 11, or booking online.
