Job Skills - Soft Skills & Social Etiquette Virtual Workshop

This workshop focuses on Identifying your Soft and Hard Skills. Understanding how they can work for or against you in the workplace, as well as the appropriate placement of soft and hard skills in professional documents such as resumes and cover letters. This workshop also focuses on cultural and professional social etiquette to improve your professional image as a professional.


Financial Literacy Virtual Workshop

Friday, May 16, 2025 

A general overview of understanding Credit, Budgeting, Debt, Resolution, Retirement and helpful resources as a financial consumer.


Handshake and Headshots – May 20 from 11 am to 2 pm

During this event, students can activate their Handshake account in order to receive a free professional headshot to use for their Handshake and other job-search related accounts. There will also be a chance to network with industry professionals!

Are you receiving Unemployment Insurance Benefits and considering enrolling in a training program to enhance your skills or to change your career path? Join us for this informational session to learn how you can waive your job search requirements and potentially extend your benefits while enrolled in school! This session will guide you through the eligibility and research requirements needed to successfully submit a Commissioner Approved Training (CAT) or Training Benefits (TB) application. We’ll even step you through the application process!
