Master Plan - SouthNet
Overview
As required by the City of Seattle, South Seattle College completed a Major Institution Master Plan (MIMP) for the main campus in 1992. The plan was approved in June of 1993 and was valid for 10 years. Most of the development proposed in the 1992 Master Plan has been successfully completed.
In the spring of 2003, with the assistance of Mithun, Inc. (architecture firm), the college began the 2 year process of developing a new MIMP for the main campus.
The Department of Neighborhoods (DON) oversees this process and works to involve the surrounding community in the development of the plan. DON will the plan to the Seattle City Council for approval.
