Student Achievement Metrics
South Seattle College defines and evaluates student achievement using institutionally meaningful measures that reflect our mission, academic offerings, and the diverse goals of our students. In alignment with Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) Standard 1.D, the College systematically identifies, assesses, and uses evidence of student achievement to support continuous improvement.
Student Achievement Measures include student engagement, Fall-to-Winter completion, four-year completion rates, job placement rates, wage progression, and math progression. Together, these indicators provide insight into student momentum, persistence, completion, and post-completion outcomes. Data are reviewed regularly and disaggregated to examine equity and access.
These student achievement measures are integrated into institutional planning, assessment, and decision-making processes to support continuous improvement and mission-aligned outcomes.
