Admission Requirements
To qualify for full admission to the SBST BAS program, you must have earned an associate degree or be within 25 credits of completing one to qualify for provisional acceptance, with the understanding that you will complete your associate degree within the first year of the bachelor's program. Additionally, a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 in your associate degree is required for admission. Two years or more of related work experience is recommended.
Admission Status
Students may be admitted to the BAS Sustainable Building Science Technology program under one of the following conditions:
Full
- You will be fully admitted to the program when all admission requirements have been completed and accepted by the Executive Dean.
Provisional
- If you are within 25 quarter credits of completing an associate degree, including the program entry requirements, you may be admitted provisionally into the program on a space available basis. This is in addition to the conditions cited above regarding journey card status and other associate degrees.
Non-Matriculated
- You can take up to 15 credits in the Sustainable Building Science Technology program prior to admission. Non-matriculated students must gain permission from a Faculty Coordinator to join classes prior to admission.
Program Requirements
Students admitted to the program must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. Please note: You need to be registered for a minimum of 12 credits per quarter to be considered a full-time student by the financial aid department.
