AANAPISI Center

Vision Statement

We are a national model for best practices as an Asian American & Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institution (AANAPISI) by providing culturally-relevant, student-centered programs and services.

The AANAPISI Center at South Seattle College was established during the 2011-2016 grant. Since then, it has been institutionalized at South and will continue to be sustained as a vibrant space for student voice, community building, and sense of belonging.

Mission Statement

The AANAPISI Center is a centralized gathering space where all students, particularly Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander, and other underserved students receive high quality, culturally relevant, student-centered programs and services.
