An associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) will give you a solid career foundation in the healthcare field. Popular among registered nurses (RNs), the ADN provides opportunities to work in entry-level nursing positions. Students typically need to complete 45 credits before they can apply for admission to an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program.

This pathway has been designed for students who wish to complete their prerequisite coursework for Seattle Colleges’ Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) RN program. This pathway should also work for other ADN programs in the area; please meet with an advisor to confirm. In this pathway, you’ll complete your general education prerequisite course requirements in areas such as biology, chemistry, math, English and psychology. The pathway also includes required co-requisite course work associated with Seattle Colleges’ ADN program.

Upon completion of this course work, students will have an opportunity to apply for admission into Seattle Colleges’ ADN program with their first four quarters of schooling complete.  Please attend a mandatory nursing information session to learn more about other admission requirements needed for entry into the Seattle Colleges’ ADN program.
