Matthew Dimeo, Director of Auxiliary Services
With 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Matt is your one-stop-shop for creating amazing events. Catching the hospitality bug early on, Matt attended Johnson County College in Kansas City and completed their prestigious chef apprenticeship program while working and learning the trade at the Hyatt Regency. After a move to Seattle, he worked in various restaurants and banquet operations including The W Hotel, Salty’s on Alki, and The Golf Club at Newcastle, before landing his first chef gig at Daniel’s Broiler in Bellevue. After making South Seattle College his home in 2018, Matt is dedicated to making your event perfect!

Chef James Curnutt 
After graduating from the Art Institute of Seattle and achieving a degree in Culinary Arts, James held sous chef positions at The Iris Grill in Issaquah, Nicolino, Pair, and Sip Wine Bar, before landing his first executive chef title at The Woodman’s Lodge in Snoqualmie. James had taught Culinary Arts in area colleges, catered multiple private events, and has run kitchens all over the city. He will make a custom menu that will amaze your guests!
