South Seattle College’s Interdisciplinary Social Science pathway meets Associate in Arts degree requirements and prepares you to transfer at the junior level to a four‑year university. You'll study issues such as race, gender, sexuality, class, and citizenship in relation to society, culture, global and local movements, social justice, and the state. As a social science student, you’ll gain the ability to reason critically, research and communicate effectively, and work across a range of social sciences to better understand—and impact—the major issues facing our society.
