COMPASS Placement

The COMPASS Placement Test has been discontinued nationally, however COMPASS and ESL/COMPASS scores may be used for placement at South if:

• Your test was taken no longer than 2 years ago.
• Student Assessment Services receives your scores officially:
  • In a sealed envelope from the institution where you tested, or
  • Scanned and emailed from the testing institution to Kathy.Malek@seattlecolleges.edu or Lauren.Getty@seattlecolleges.edu, or
  • Faxed to Student Assessment Services at 206.934.6766.
• Or, if you took the COMPASS or ESL/COMPASS test here at South, your advisor has access to your scores.
