About Wait Listing

 What is a Wait List?
The Wait List is a list of students waiting to be added to a full class should an opening occur. Names are added to the list in the order in which they were received via the Web or in-person registration.
What are the Benefits of a Wait List?
It provides students with a fair, efficient method of registering in full classes as openings occur. It also provides accurate data relating to class demand and can enable the quick addition of classes in response to that demand.

How Do I Get On or Off a Wait List For a Class?
You may either get on or off the Wait List through the Web or in the Registration Office. If you choose to wait list a class you'll be automatically registered into a class when an opening occurs.
Will I be Notified if I am Enrolled?
No, you will need to check your schedule daily via the Web
  • to see if you have been enrolled in the class
  • to adjust your schedule if needed
  • to see if there are any outstanding charges
If you decide you no longer want to be wait listed for a class, please remove your name from a class Wait List you no longer want. You will give other students the opportunity to move up on the Wait List. Please do one of the following to remove your name:

What if I Owe Money for the New Class?
If you owe additional tuition (see current tuition schedule) for the Wait List class you were automatically enrolled in, remember to pay by the designated campus deadline in the quarterly schedule. If the date has passed, you need to pay within 48 hours of enrollment.
