Transfer Center

The Transfer Center has put together information, links, and handouts to help you as you begin your college research.  Remember, it is important to work closely with your counselor or advisor AND the school that you hope to attend.

Also, visiting university websites and their campuses is the best way to gather information about a particular university so start researching.  Find information about the 4 year schools in Washington.

Who Can Transfer?

Students who complete an AA degree from a Washington state community college are eligible to transfer to most Washington four-year universities. Qualifying students transferring with an AA degree will be given 90 credits towards their 180 credit baccalaureate degree. There are specific details regarding this process so please make sure you ask questions.
It is very important to meet with an advisor or counselor to discuss requirements and the transfer process. Assistance with many aspects of transferring to a four-year institute is available at the Transfer Center. Make an appointment to learn more about transfer opportunities, receive help with personal statements, or review materials in our library.

If you have questions or comments please contact Elaine Gottschalk at egottschalk@sccd.ctc.edu.
