Acceptance to Program (Information updated August 5, 2008)
Students will be accepted into the LPN to RN Ladder Program on a competitive and space available basis. We expect a large pool of applicants and currently have space for 36 students.
- Students accepted into the fall program will be sent formal letters of acceptance in the third week of August.
- Upon acceptance into the program, students will be required to fill in certain paperwork prior to entering the program. Immunization forms, a form to be completed by their physician for a physical, and instructions on running a background check can be found on the application webpage.
- Required immunizations include measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), chicken pox (varicella) and hepatitis B, unless a positive titer is present. A current tetanus shot and tuberculin skin test or chest x-ray is also required.
- Accepted students will have to complete a Criminal Background Authorization form.
- Paperwork also required by the deadline are: $150 deposit, WA state certificate as a License Practical Nurse, current CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, HIV/Aids training (7 hours).
- Accepted students will be given instructions for registration. Students who do not meet requirements in a timely fashion will have their name removed from the acceptance list.
