Prerequisites    (Information updated December 2008)

• Current NAC License with the State of Washington.
• Passing scores on the COMPASS or ESL/COMPASS exam are required for enrollment into the LPN program pre-requisite courses.
• A student does not have to take an assessment test if he or she has submitted an official transcript to SSCC listing college-level English 101 and Math 102 with grades of 2.0 or higher. (Read about transferring credits and transcript evaluation.)

Complete the Following Academic Nursing Pre-requisite Requirements

• The minimum acceptable grade for any Pre-requisite Course is 2.0
• There is currently no time limit on the nursing pre-requisite classes.
• Students may enroll and take these courses at South (see Steps to Enroll)
