Certificate Description
The Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain
Management Program is a short-term, 19-credit certificate
program providing courses in airport and seaport
operations, security and regulatory environment,
international and domestic transportation modes, and
supply chain management. See class list.

Instructor: Steve Balaski
Steve is an industry professional with over 13 years
experience in the field. He is currently employed with APL
Limited, a global transportation and logistics provider.
His background includes positions in operations, project
management, business development, marketing, and
sales. His various roles and experience working in a variety
of domestic and international locations enable Steve to
offer students relevant, practical knowledge. He is active
in various transportation professional organizations
and serves as current president of the Transportation
Club of Seattle. Steve is a graduate of the University of
Washington and received his MBA from Seattle University.
