On behalf of South Seattle Community College and the Foundation, thank you to the celebrity chefs, event sponsors, wineries and volunteers who came together to make this year’s annual “Gifts From the Earth” event a success!  This year more than 300 people attended, and more than $150,000 was raised to support students and programs at South, such as student scholarships, faculty development and classroom equipment.

We are looking forward to planning for another successful event in 2011.  Please mark your calendars for Saturday, January 29, 2011, and plan to attend “Gifts from the Earth.”  This event is a must for those serious about food, wine and supporting local industry and students!
