This is a tool to help you get better acquainted with South and what it takes to be a successful student. You will be required to enter your name, your SID number, and your email.

New students to South who have enrolled for classes and have received their SID number, and/or students who have applied online and received their SID number via email.

Any interested student is welcome to complete the orientation as well because it contains valuable information about resources and procedures.

A current version of the free Macromedia Flash player. You must have version 6.0.79 or higher of the Flash Player or you will have difficulties viewing the orientation. Go here to check and/or upgrade your Flash Player for free - it usually takes less than a minute.

One of these Web browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 or higher, OR Netscape version 6.0 or higher, with Javascript turned on. (Most browsers come with Javascript turned on.)

Further instructions are included at the start of the orientation. At the end, you will be asked a series of questions to demonstrate what you have learned about succeeding at South. Don't worry, all the information is clearly included in the orientation. Just get comfortable and enjoy the orientation.
